Local Grassroots Services
A collection of practical work helping small businesses and people nearby, from AI integration and a website redesign for 4kMobileDJ to patient tech help and companionship for older adults.

The question
What could I do with the skills I already had to make someone’s day or business a little easier?
Sometimes someone needs a better website. Sometimes they want to understand how AI might help their business. Sometimes they need a patient person to sit with them, work through a technology problem, or simply keep them company.
I wanted to be useful across that whole range.
The approach
I helped with the needs in front of me, including small-business AI solutions, general technology support, and a complete website design revamp for 4kMobileDJ.
My girlfriend and I also launched Waggin’ Wheels Dog Wash after moving to North Dakota. She primarily ran it, and the venture was intended to create an income opportunity for her.
These were different kinds of work, connected by people trying to make something happen or needing a little support.
Where it stands
This portfolio entry brings together past local service work and small-business projects.
The examples vary in scope, but they show a part of my work that I value: being approachable, figuring out what someone needs, and helping where I can.
What stays with me
I don’t need every useful thing I do to become a startup.
Helping someone feel less overwhelmed by technology matters to me. So does helping a business present itself better, supporting my girlfriend’s opportunity, or spending time with someone who could use the company.
I want to keep making room for that kind of work.
